I followed the instruction above USING THE DIRECT LINKS, going to the Canon page didn’t seem to do it. So, I deleted everything that I had installed, everywhere. After all, this only PROVES the scanner works, Canon is just being a dick about it. This only made me more resolute to make it work without paying.
